Description
Solar (PV) cable 4 mm² is a specialized multi-strand wire designed for connecting solar panels and linking them to inverters or charge controllers in photovoltaic systems.
Key features and benefits:
• Tinned copper: The conductors are made of copper coated with a thin layer of tin, which protects the metal from corrosion, oxidation, and improves electrical conductivity. • Double insulation and sheath: Typically has two layers of cross-linked polymer (polyethylene) that are flame retardant and protect against mechanical damage. • Extreme protection: Insulation is resistant to ultraviolet (UV) radiation, ozone, acids, alkalis, and is waterproof (allows direct burial in the ground). • Wide temperature range: Withstands extreme temperature fluctuations from \(-40\) to \(+90^{\circ}\text{C}\) (with short-term heating up to \(+120^{\circ}\text{C}\))
