For a new build we recommend 314 Ah — the same price per Ah, but more energy per cell and fewer parallel connections. 280 Ah is usually chosen to expand existing batteries built on that capacity.

It depends on battery capacity and your load. During sizing we work out exactly what needs to keep running (lights, boiler, pump, internet, fridge) and for how many hours — and pick the capacity to match.

At the same power, a high-voltage system carries less current — meaning lower cable losses, thinner wiring and higher efficiency. It's the right choice for large sites: housing associations, businesses and manufacturing.
